Kailah Bharath is a marketing director, strategic advisor, community founder, and writer based in Toronto, Canada.

Since 2013, Kailah has collaborated with dynamic, multidisciplinary teams within technology startups, nonprofit & cultural organizations, and creative & venture studios, often as a solo or founding marketer. 

From day one through to $50M+ in revenue, she has successfully led commercialization across a plethora of inflection points, including new company formations, rebrands, product launches, M&A integration, function formalization, and global expansion. From legal billing tech to API infrastructure to cancer research, her marketing work has touched a wide range of markets, audiences, and missions. 

As a founder, Kailah co-created Syzygy Toronto, an event-based community for women and non-binary people that gathered hundreds of attendees in unique local venues. She co-designed International Women’s Day programming for RBC executives and built partnerships with 20+ sponsors including Bite Beauty, Greenhouse Juice, and Province Apothecary. She has also facilitated sessions and panels at Shopify’s partner conference in Toronto and Web Summit in Lisbon. 

Curious, multi-faceted, and methodology-informed, Kailah combines her diverse marketing expertise and training in journalism to drive narrative, visibility, and growth in ever-evolving industries.
