Kailah Bharath (KY-LA BAR-AT) is a marketing consultant, founder, and multidisciplinary creative based in Toronto. For 12+ years, she’s combined her background in journalism, product marketing, and brand strategy to help grow emerging ventures —VC-backed startups, social enterprises, nonprofits, and creative studios— at the intersection of technology and social impact.
She is the founding editor of Root and Flow, an indie magazine that explores multifaceted identity, an advisor and mentor to 1RG, a community incubating techno-humanist initiatives, and developing a menstrual health venture born out of her own lived experience with endometriosis and PCOS. Previously, she co-founded and led Syzygy Toronto, an event-based community built on intersectional feminist values.
